Why should I attend this course?

The course will provide delegates with the knowledge & skills needed to avoid inadvertently disturbing asbestos material in buildings. It also provides site workers with the level of awareness needed to appreciate the dangers associated with asbestos exposure and promotes good working practices to protect workers and others who may be affected.

Aim of the Course:
To raise awareness about the dangers associated with asbestos materials within buildings.

Objectives:
To learn about asbestos products and their uses within buildings.
To raise awareness of the health hazards associated with exposure to asbestos fibres.
To enable contractors / site workers to identify asbestos in buildings.
To provide site workers and contractors with the key skills necessary to ensure that asbestos material is not disturbed during routine maintenance and refurbishment activities.
