At the end of the course delegates will have good background knowledge of all aspects of the COSHH regulations and be able to carry out a workplace assessment of harmful substances. They will also be able to create and maintain records of assessments.
Aim of the Course:
To give delegates a basic understanding of the current COSHH Legislation and guidance and methods of assessing risks in the workplace.
Objectives:
To raise awareness of the acute and chronic injuries caused by manual handling.
To enable managers to carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments with regard to manual handling activities.
To provide the key skills and training necessary to carry out manual handling activities safely.

PowerPoint presentations, videos and small group work.
